Vizualizace dětských hřišť na území města Ostravy pomocí Google Fusion Tables

Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is to verify possibilities and suitability of creating map application in Google Fusion Tables displaying children playgrounds in Ostrava using free data sources. The data sources are administrative districts of Ostrava, project Bezpečnější Ostrava, thesis supervisor and a field survey. Preparation of the data includes geocoding in Fusion Tables and digitizing in My maps. Due to the correlation analysis, there is a relation between the number of children playgrounds and the population under 15 years. After uploading modified data to Fusion Tables, the style of the features was edited and an information window was modified using templating system and HTML. Edited application was joined with the application containing administrative borders using external application. It was discovered that creating a simple application in Fusion Tables is suitable for amateurs. For experienced users, there is a Fusion Tables API.
