Abstract
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the digitalization of the education in the Czech Republic, the main goal of which is to evaluate its development at carious levels of education in the Czech Republic between years 2018 and 2023. Three indicators and six research questions were determined to fulfill the main objective of the thesis. The theoretical part of the work is divided into two chapters, the first part of which is about the definition of the education sector, the second part is about the use of ICT and digitalization in education. Research indicators and research are included in the research and evaluation methodology, including the number of computers available to students, the percentage of schools equipped with a Wi-Fi wireless network and the percentage of schools equipped with an information system. The scientific methods used in the application part include comparison and analysis, which is followed by the application part of the work in which the established indicators and answers to research questions are examined. The research revealed that the development of the digitalization of the education in the Czech republic was positive and all indicators grew over time.
