Hodnocení ohroženosti zemědělských pozemků vodní erozí na území Hlučínska

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with water erosion, a threat to agricultural lands in the cadastral area Hlučínko. The selected lands are found in the cadastre of Bolatice, Kravaře, Oldřišov, Darkovičky, and Hlučín. The first section of the submitted paper comprises bibliography of papers dealing with water erosion, erosion protection, and the description of the analysed area. The practical part renders an evaluation of the average long-term loss of soil, based on the calculation of the factors, applying the universal soil loss equation (USLE) on selected soil blocks in the areas of interest as well as a proposal of erosion measures. In total, soil loss was evaluated on 42 soil blocks (lands), and it has been found that steps against erosion should be proposed in 38 % of the analysed soil blocks, where the limit of the soil loss 4 t·ha-1·year-1 was exceeded. Based on the acquired results, measures have been proposed when the acceptable loss of soil was exceeded, resulting in the reduction of water-erosion intensity to an acceptable level. The diploma thesis also includes images and maps, generated in the ArcGIS software.
