Abstract

KOPRNOVÁ, Petra. Proposal of safe communication for crane operators and navigators. [Bachelor thesis]. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2020, 47 s. The bachelor thesis deals with the system of safe communication for crane operators and navigators on an international construction site and is divided into two parts. The first part provides a summary of current knowledge about lifting equipment. In particular, a summary of the legislation, the division of the cranes, the general safety of the cranes, the necessary documents, tests and persons ensuring the safe operation of these facilities. The practical part focuses on a specific workplace. It describes the current state of communication between contractors and specific situations that may occur during lifting operations. Based on the assessment of the current state, a measure is proposed that leads to the elimination of dangerous situations on the construction site. The conclusion of the work is to design rules that improve communication between navigators and crane operators of all contractors moving on the construction site.
