Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of long-term power outage and its impact on the operation capabilities of a selected health facility and with civil protection measures taken. The basic information about civil protection and crisis management systém is described. In the next part energetics security, electricity systém and long-term power outages are described. Second part od the thesis is focused on selected health facility. Basic information, blackout impact on the facility and means of emergency power systems in the facility are described. The thesis is concluded by a created scenario for dealing with a long-term power outage and its possible use.
