Abstract
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is a static analysis of selected elements of a light steel hall made of thin-walled cold-formed profiles. The work also focuses on the possibility of using pairs of thin-walled cross-sections. The text briefly describes the issues of light steel halls, the production of thin-walled profiles and their mechanical behavior. The possibilities of thin-walled steel structure connections, including the non-traditional clinch technology, are also described. The work includes the creation of a global numerical model of the structure from bar elements in the SCIA Engineer program. The work also includes a review of design procedures for thin-walled profiles according to standards using numerical methods. A linear stability analysis was performed for the selected cross-section using a local shell model. A static check was performed on the selected elements according to the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.
