Abstract
In my thesis I partly follow up my bachelor thesis. In the submitted work I measure vibrations by three accelerometers placed on the workpiece. The accelerometers are attached to the workpiece by a special prism designed and made by myself. In the theoretical part I deal with the description of abrasive water jet, and then I study details of cutting description. An important part is the macroscopic physical description of the interaction process. An integral part of the work is a chapter that deals with the vibrations which are used for AWJ cutting monitoring. The evaluation of the important publications dealing with the same or similar issues is included. The experimental part with the detailed description of the important components follows. The results of measurement are collected by Signal Express program and the data are then processed in LabVIEW. A special LabVIEW toolkit is utilized for online monitoring of vibrations.
