Abstract

Supervisor Ing. Věra Holubová, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the physical security system in the selected facility. The theoretical part describes the concept of physical security, namely its subparts, legal regulation and practical modern use of the physical security system. Furthermore, this part briefly discusses the issue of risk assessment. The practical part focuses on the application of the physical security system in the selected facility. Using the risk assessment process, risks were identified, analysed and evaluated. The most serious risks and critical points in the security were minimized by the selected technique. In the last chapter, a for an innovative solution to the problem in the selected facility was given. The quantification of the investment intensity of the reconditional measures was carried out with regard to the economic valuation of the assets.
