Abstract

The thesis is focused on the possibility to use mine water acquired during the process of ore mining in the area of the Gold Mountains, as an alternative source of drinking water in case of water shortage, such as drought or accident. The process consists of three parts. The first part defines the characteristics of mine water in the selected area and the possibility of treatment of mine water from mining the ore. The second part describes the technological steps involved in the process of transforming the mine water which comes from the area of Gold Mountains into drinkable water. In the practical part the process experimentally verifies the possibility of using this technological approach for the treatment of mine water.
