Abstract

The thesis „Competitiveness of the European Union in International Trade“ is focused on the position of the European Union in international trade. The aim of the work is to map a direction of the trade policy of the EU based on analysis of trade relationships of the EU from its foundation. The first chapter of the thesis is focused on the issue of international trade. The second chapter is focused on the changing position of the European Union in international trade. The third chapter analyzes the current EU trade strategy.
