Abstract

The goal of the Competitiveness of the Company diploma thesis is to assess the current competitiveability of a selected company, to emphasize its merits, and to focus on its weak points. In addition, suggestions on how to eliminate company failings in order to support its competitiveness will also be raised. The diploma thesis is divided into three chapters: the theoretical part comprising of the conception of competition and competitiveness and describing features of the competitive strategy; the next part gives a brief company description; and finally, methods as introduced in the initial theoretical part will be applied in the practical section. Suggestions and recommendations: based on SWOT analysis, the author proposed four strategies, defined goals according to the SMART rule, and designed a more convenient strategy for communication with a customer in the marketing field.
