Fyzická ochrana měkkého cíle

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on assessing the level of security and physical protection of Masaryk Square in Nový Jičín, which is identified as a soft target from a security perspective. The theoretical section of the thesis defines basic concepts related to the protection of soft targets and attacks on such targets, and describes selected risk analysis methods. In the practical section, the Ishikawa, SWOT, and CARVER methods are applied to assess the risk level of the area in two scenarios: during normal operations and during a large public event. Based on the results of these analyses, the aim of the thesis is to propose specific technical and procedural measures that will lead to enhancing visitor safety and minimizing identified threats.
