Abstract
The theoretic part of the thesis covers literary background research in the area of possible simulations of the diffusion of dangerous chemicals. The utilization of mathe-matical and physical model is described, as well as the simulation software (mathemati-cal model) and aerodynamic tunnel (physical model).
Experimental part is focused on the comparison of the dispersion of gas pollu-tants with different weights by means of physical model. Physical experiment was per-formed in an aerodynamic tunnel. The CO2-LOAD method was used for measurement.
In the following part of the thesis, this experiment was performed by simulation software. The approaches of simulation software to the effect of spread of gas pollutants with different weights were compared. The advantages and disadvantages of used software are presented and the outputs are interpreted. The statistical evaluation by statistic system Trilobite QC Expert 2.5 was also carried out.
