Abstract
The thesis deals with reafractory materials and is divided into four main chapters.
First chapter briefly describes raw materials used for manufacturing refactory ceramic materials, which are based mostly on oxide and its combinations. Second chapter classifies shaped and non-shaped products according to international standarts. Third chapter provides
a description of some properties used for evaluating refracory materials. Last chapter describes current situation regarding production and use of refractory materials.
