Abstract
This thesis deals with the extraction and use of the glass sands products in the Czech Republic. The first part is focused on the characteristics of glass sands and their properties. The second part deals with glass sands deposits, mining organizations and major manufacturers of the glass products.
The aim of this work is the introduction of glass raw material's and the assessment of the economic contexts.
