Abstract

The topic of the thesis is the competitiveness of the company Škoda Auto, as The aim of this work was to determine the competitiveness of automakers in the Czech Republic, and then make proposals and recommendations for strengthening its position in the market. The thesis is divided to four parts. The first part describes the theoretical background of the selected areas and explains concepts such as competition, competitiveness, competitive advantage, new concepts of competition and methods to analyze the competition. The second part consists of Skoda Auto, as The third part is a part of a practical application, there are methods used and applied analysis, which is closely connected with the company. The last part will be proposed recommendations that could improve the company's competitiveness..
