Bezpečnostní projekt – situační prevence kriminality ve vybrané obci

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the modernization of situational crime prevention in the municipality of Sedlnice. The thesis analyses the current security situation and proposes specific measures to reduce crime and increase the sense of security. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts The practical part is devoted to a detailed description of the municipality and the definition of risk areas based on statistical data from 2020-2024. The public opinion survey supplements the crime analysis with the subjective perception of the safety of the inhabitants. Risk assessment in the identified locations was carried out using CARVER and FMEA methods, followed by the Pareto principle for risk prioritization. Based on the findings, specific situational prevention measures are proposed.
