Návrh zajištění skalního svahu bývalého stěnového lomu Vaňov

Abstract

The presented thesis contains a proposal of a solution of stabilizing a former quarry rock slope. This slope is a subject to rock outcrops instabilities and events classified as rockfalls. Falling rock fragments endanger not only facilities close to the slope, but also human lives. The first chapter summarizes characteristics of the concerned area and justifies the proposed solutions. The second chapter explains individual solutions of the slope stabilization and reasons for the final proposal. The following chapter evaluates influence of the solution on the environment. The conclusion of the thesis compares two different alternatives of the solution from the economical, technical and safety views.
