Abstract
This thesis is a financial analysis of a mining company. This work analyzes the financial situation and identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the selected company. For my thesis I chose the company PÍSKY - J. Elsnic spol. s r.o. This company mining gravel and sand. Financial analysis of the company is for the accounting period 2013 - 2017. Evaluation of financial health is done by calculating absolute and ratio indicators, Du - Pont pyramidal model, bankruptcy models and solvency models.
