Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of Smart Grids together with the subsequent impact on the distribution grid. Particularly what impact will the widespread deployment of Smart Grid elements have on the standards of electricity distribution and continuity energy indicators. The work is separated into two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part was a basic analysis of the distribution systems made, simultaneously the concept of Smart Grids was described and explained. In the next point of the theoretical part were named the reasons for introducing Smart Grids elements, also analysis of individual elements together with their important properties into the standards of electricity distribution were made. The practical part was primarily focused on indicators of continuity electricity distribution. All created grids models were created in specialized software. SAIDI and SAIFI have been calculated in accordance with the valid legislation. The results of all grids were then analyzed. The final part of this thesis evaluates these results, here are also shown two sides of the Smart Grids, the positive side and the negative side.
