Abstract
The thesis deals with a comprehensive analysis of industrial waste, primarily focusing on the content of non-ferrous metals and their recycling methods. Key attention is given to the legal regulations, characteristics, and classification of industrial waste, recycling technologies (mechanical, chemical, and biological), and the possibilities for material analysis of metal waste. The work highlights the importance of recycling as a means to reduce environmental impact and support sustainable resource utilization. The experimental part addresses the preparation and analysis of copper obtained through the hydrometallurgical process and subsequent electrolysis from copper waste originating from the processing industry. Additionally, the practical section of the thesis details the specific methods used to process the obtained copper and its properties.
