Modelování vztahu ekonomického růstu a inflace

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a modelováním vztahu dvou makroekonomických fenoménů – ekonomického růstu a inflace. Vztah těchto dvou veličin není v ekonomické teorii jednoznačný. Regresní analýzou jsou odhadnuty modely ekonomického růstu a inflace pro země Visegrádské čtyřky. K dispozici máme čtvrtletní data pro období 1. čtvrtletí 1997 – 4. čtvrtletí 2010. Odhadnuté modely jsou podrobeny statistické i ekonometrické verifikaci. V závěru jsou shrnuty poznatky týkající se vztahu ekonomického růstu a inflace za dané období jak za vytvořené skupiny modelů, tak za jednotlivé země V4.

Dissertation deals with an analysis and modelling of the relationship between two macroeconomic phenomena: economic growth and inflation. In economic theory, the relationship between these two is not unambiguous. By a regression analysis the models for economic growth and inflation of the countries of Visegrád Four are estimated. For this purpose there were available data covering the period between the 1st quarter1997 up to the 4th quarter 2010. The estimated models were verified by statistical and econometric verification. At the end of this work, I summarize the results of the analysis concerning the relation between economic growth and inflation for the given period for both the created groups of models, and the countries of the Visegrád Four.
