Abstract

In this thesis finds appropriate reader a brief description of the belt transport coal handling in power plant Počerady. Then I describe here the role and significance of electromagnetic metal separator for coal handling plant and its production units. I analyze long-term problems caused by incorrect choice of the current location of metal separators in belt transport handling. I suggest solution of current problems and here is also developed brief economic balance of this solution. In conclusion the thesis I summarize current experience with other metal separators which are already in operation in this power plant, and compare them with the suggested solution.
