Abstract

The aim of diploma thesis is assessment of insurance coverage and proposal for its optimization in company Beskyd Agro, a.s. Palkovice. Thesis has two separate parts. In theoretical part, there is business risk, its classification and then using insurance as a way how to manage risks. Practical part of the thesis involves selected concrete company and its insurance program. Business risks are identified, analyzed and evaluated. Insurance program of this company is evaluated and based on found risks its improvement is recommended. The conclusion deals with fact-based analysis and design, formulating suggestions and recommendations that may be useful in the future development of the company.
