Implementace přírodních řešení pro snižování klimatických rizik

Abstract

This document focuses on the use of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for reducing climate-related risks in urban environments. The main objective is to develop a clear and practical framework for the design and implementation of NbS within the context of safety planning. The theoretical part defines the concept of NbS, their typology, links to selected climate risks, and the legislative framework. The practical part proposes a step-by-step method, from risk analysis to implementation. This method is applied in a case study of the city of Havířov, where specific problems are identified and suitable NbS measures are proposed. The results demonstrate that NbS can effectively reduce climate risks while providing additional environmental and social benefits. The thesis confirms their importance as a preventive tool in security planning.
