Abstract
This thesis describes the design and implementation of localization and communication system of an autonomous robotic device. And handle the issue from scratch. It begins with the selection of components, design and assembly of printed circuit boards and using the operating system FreeRTOS for microprocessor systems. Then continue with localization issues of robotic device in buildings and
outdoor environments, such as GPS or odometry measurements. Deals with the selection and implementation of communication interfaces between modules of device that is ultimately created by CAN bus with the CANopen application layer.
