Abstract
Abstract
This paper describes the influence of the chemical composition of steel and more focused on the addition of boron and the influence of cooling rate on Stelmor conveyor using two cooling options. Steel designation C4D and C4D+B was rolling on the KDT in TŽ a.s. Individual variations are different cooling temperature at which the wire is laid on the conveyor and the number of running fans in different sections of conveyor. The resulting mechanical properties of the material obtained by tensile tests and microstructural analysis. The different cooling temperatures during the movement of the wire loops on the conveyor will be captured using thermal imagers frames.
