Podpora sportu Moravskoslezským krajem

Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with the support of sport in the Moravian-Silesian Region for the period 2004 – 2009. This thesis consists of the theoretical interpretation of sport in the Czech Republic, with closer focus on the Moravian-Silesian Region as a participant of sport support of sport and practical part, which solves analysis and evaluation support of sport for the Moravian-Silesian Region according to selected criteria (financial resources, legislation, organizational security, cooperation with other entities and from the perspective of a SWOT analysis). Financial resources on the support of sport and sporting activities in the Moravian-Silesian Region may be obtained from the European Union budget, from the state budget, the budget of the municipalities and from private sources in the form of membership fees, gifts, interest on savings, entrance fees to sporting events, from funds provided by SAZKA a.s, as the sponsorship and funding from their own business.
