Abstract

The subject of the bachelor thesis is a preparation of the documentation for a construction of the polyfunctional house Slezská. The design of the object builds on the performed study of the area of the former Petr Bezruč's mine in Slezska Ostrava. The prime objective is a revitalization of the locality and a creation of the backround for possible organization of conferences. According to the urbanistic and architectonic point of view, the building is reacting on and respecting surrounding area, history of the location and ideologically is replacing demolished hammer tower in the panoramatic view of the Ostrava city.
