Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a modular model of a conveyor belt controlled by a Raspberry Pi microcontroller. Using 3D printing technology, the model can be easily created, assembled and, according to selected preferences, the difficulty of the subject can be set using a certain sensor or system of peripherals.
The model introduces the student in an interesting way to the problems of control, programming, data collection and automation of all parts of the conveyor belt.
The work describes the design of all 3D models of the conveyor, the process of 3D printing from the mentioned models to the physical part and the selection of material. Furthermore, the functions of individual sensors and their principle are presented here. The penultimate chapter outlines the implementation of the overall model.
The conclusion includes an explanation of selected didactic tasks on the model of the conveyor belt from simple to more demanding examples.
