Integrovaný plán rozvoje města Orlová

Abstract

Integrated Development Plan of the Municipality (IDPM) is an effective tool of the urban policy, which supports the development of deprived urban areas. It also represents an important tool for drawing subsidies from EU structural funds. The bachelor thesis deals with the characterization of the Integrated Development Plan of the Municipality of Orlová in terms of the problems and the objectives and outlines its implementation and drawing the EU funds. According to IDPM Orlova analysis, the municipality faces problems of low city attractiveness and problems of housing. The municipality Orlová solve these problems through the projects of revitalization of public area and improvement of the housing quality. The IDPM projects are supported by the Integrated operational programme cofinanced by EU funds. The municipality Orlová submited three calls from the year 2009 to year 2012, 20 projects were approved with total allocation of CZK 99 660 598 that represents 85 % of total IDPM Orlova budget.
