Abstract

Nowadays, the trend in the industry is optimalization of the production. There is a big demand on production systems to enable it. There are control systems that without no doubt belong to production systems. These control systems need to flexibly react on changing demand on production technology. My diploma work deals with the exchange of the thirty years old control system of the moulding line, which is one of the main device in foundry company UNEX Olomouc. In the first part of my diploma work there is analysed the system of moulding line, in the second part of my diploma work there is proposed the new control system and in the last part there is solved the software application and proposed realization of new demand on new control system. The exchange of control system of one moulding line on the basis of my Diploma work was realised in December of the year 2013. The exchange of control system of second moulding line will be realized in May of the year 2014.
