Abstract

The aim of this work was to understand the architecture and internal workings of the LwM2M protocol developed by the OMA, and subsequently, based on this knowledge, to create a functional implementation for a battery-powered device. The device for which the implementation was intended—and whose development I was involved in—I had to understand, learn to work with, and develop new features for during the course of this project. This work will also describe the approach I took during my professional practice, the problems I encountered, and the solutions I applied to address them.
