Abstract

This work bring abstract about option of monitoring in metropolitan networks, purely use Open Source software, or software make self production and iplemented on OS GNU/Linux. Work is puting mind to specification of traffic further in metropolitan networks and it try on the strength of ascertained requierements choose the best monitoring system. All work developed from requirement real stocking monitoring system to metropolitan network under control of company Resal spol. s r.o., on this networks will be testing finaly implementation. Reason for choosing suitable monitoring system is unsatisfactory contemporary loom, this loom will be writen in this work. Work writing complex suit analysis of proposition, choosing and implemntation of monitoring system in real commercial world.
