Detekce vměstků ve svarových spojích bez přídavného materiálu

Abstract

The diploma thesis investigates the detection of non-metallic inclusions in autogenous weld joints using both destructive and non-destructive testing methods. The theoretical part provides an overview of welding technologies, with an emphasis on potential defects during welding processes, as well as an analysis of commonly applied destructive and non-destructive testing techniques in industrial practice. The experimental part is focused on the characterization of 34MnB5 steel and its practical applications. Non-destructive ultrasonic testing of steel tubes made of 34MnB5 is conducted, followed by destructive testing aimed at validating and correlating the results. The findings are subsequently discussed in detail.
