RESUME

This thesis is a look at the culture in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The thesis aims to evaluate financial situation in the funding of culture in the town of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and the role of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in financing culture in the city. The thesis is divided into five chapters, in which is culture and its funding theoretical described, the detailed analysis of the culture and its financing in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, comparison with selected cities and evaluation of culture in this city from many perspectives. Next is funding of this area from public budgets in the total area of the ČR, regional and municipal expenditures in relation to their total number. There is also recalculation of the average spending on culture provided per inhabitant.
