Abstract
As a part of economic savings, it is increasingly being saved on construction materials, which can lead to a worst building stability. For this reason, it is advised to monitor building condition with a measuring system. It is a good choice to use IoT technologies for measuring and sending data because batteries in these devices can last for several years. The aim of this thesis is the design and implement equipment for monitoring the stability of building structures using IoT technology. The proposed measuring system enables communication using four IoT technologies, including Sigfox, LoRA, NB-IoT and IQRF. To change the communication technology, user have to change only the IoT communication module. The other parts of the measuring system are unchanged. Part of this thesis is also about collecting measured data and storing it in MySQL database, their processing and visualization of measured data in the Grafana environmen. Battery consumption is very important in these devices so the energetic consumption analysis for each IoT technology is performed and they are compared in a table.
