Abstract
The topic of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of economic policy of Poland in the period 1989 -2014. The main goal is to analyze macroeconomic indicators and determine whether the transformation of the Polish economy and the integration of Poland into the European Union is beneficial for the Polish economy.
The first part outlines the basic assumptions of the Polish economy in the nineties of the twentieth century, a period of transformation of the Polish economy. The following chapter analyzes the Polish economy before Poland's accession to the European Union, the years of the 2002 - 2003 until 2007. The last part analyzes the development of the Polish economy during the economic crisis in 2008 until 2014.
Bachelor thesis analyzes the integration of Poland and the effort to be part of the integration grouping the European Union and the internal market of the European Union was for Poland successfully because in the context of the increase of the Polish exports would not be monitored values certainly achieved if the Polish economy is not integrated with the European Union. In the context of the economic crisis, which affected almost all European Union countries, was for Poland positive that the Polish economy is not open to their surroundings as the another economy of the European Union countries.
