Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on assessing the financial situation of a selected company operating in the metallurgical industry. The objective of the bachelor thesis is to perform a financial analysis of the company for the period 2018–2023 based on financial statements and to evaluate its financial health, stability, and performance. The theoretical part presents the key principles of financial analysis, its information sources, and the methods used, including horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratios, return decomposition, variance analysis, and leverage effects. In the practical part, these tools are applied to a specific company in order to identify the main financial indicators and draw conclusions about the overall economic condition of the business.
