Abstract

My master thesis describes and demonstrates innovative management of city. Smart management is an important element of the Smart Cities ideas and major factor of the urban development. The city development must be sustainable from an economic, socio-cultural and environmental point of view. There in this thesis is a new use for modern method in construction industry, the building information modelling. It use its strengths in the modeling of city and connects the model with expertise in facility management throughout the life cycle of buildings. BIM mapping model of the city is linked to systems for facility management and allows full use of all available information for effective planning, decision making and leadership.
