Možnosti získávání kritických surovin EU na území ČR.

Abstract

This work deals with the possibilities of obtaining critical minerals of the European Union in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part lists the individual critical raw materials together with their basic properties and uses. Critical minerals, which currently have potentially economically usable reserves in the Czech Republic, are further described in more detail in separate chapters, namely barite, coking coal, fluorite, germanium, lithium, graphite and tungsten. The practical part deals with the experimental extraction of tungsten concentrate from ore containing scheelite (CaWO4) from the Kašperské Hory. This general verification of the possibilities of dry gravity separation without the use of process water, i.e. in an ascending air flow, was carried out on a TRIPLE/S Dynamics pneumatic separator. The resulting product was further modified using flotation when the efficiency of flotation was tested at different concentrations of several tested reagents. The performed experimental work proved the suitability of this method for the given purpose. Pneumatic separation, as basically the only applicable method of treatment without the use of process water, can serve in combination with pre-concentration of scheelite ore in UV light as an alternative procedure for removing tailings from the ore. The implemented flotation achieved a qualitative efficiency of the basic flotation process of 57 %. These results correspond to commonly achieved metallicities of industrial scheelite concentrates from basic flotation in the range of 5 to 10% WO3 content.
