Hospodářské a společenské dopady válečného konfliktu v Bosně a Hercegovině

Abstract

The main aim of diploma thesis is to identify the economic and social causes and impacts of the war conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The partial aim is to prove or disprove hypotheses that were set at the beginning of my thesis. The diploma thesis is divided into five main chapters including the introduction and conclusion. The concept of second chapter (theoretical part) is focused on the defining economic and social aspects related to war conflicts in general and also on the genesis of the formation of the international community. In the third chapter it is possible to find the description of examined war conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the identifying its social causes and impacts and the activity of international community. The fourth chapter is oriented on identifying economic causes and impacts. There are also used econometric methods for the analysis of economic impacts and the forecast of future development of the Bosnian economy.
