Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with overcoming the security of bicycles by selected methods. In the first part of the thesis there is a legal issue related to the theft of bicycles. The following sections deal with stolen bike statistics and characterization of all types of security. The following chapters discuss the factors influencing bicycle theft, types of perpetrators of theft and methods of overcoming security. The second part deals with the testing of selected types of locks, which are tested by various common methods used in bicycle theft. Finally, the summary is presented, which maps the actions of individual types of security during testing.
