Abstract

This Bachelor thesis deals with a modelling of an accident impact and its subsequent visualisation using geographic information system capabilities. The introductory part informs about the legislation in prevention and awareness of severe accident event and focuses on the main rules of map composition creation. The description of the software products used for modelling of the accident impact follows. A dangerous substance was chosen as an example of single leak computation and its visualisation in GIS environment. The thesis will be used as a methodical manual of accidents impact results processing for educational purposes.
