E-Participace v místní veřejné správě

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the existing possibilities of e-Participation of citizens in selected municipalities Dolní Bečva, Prostřední Bečva and Horní Bečva. This paper analyzes the current situation for local citizens in managing municipal affairs by enabling local public administration through remote access and suggesting improvements in this area.

The theoretical part focuses on the role of e-Government and e-Participation in public administration. They are characterized by electronic tools of citizen participation used in Czech practice. Described is local government, defined basic principles of functioning of the municipality and its bodies. At the end of this section are presented individual selected municipalities.

The practical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of official websites of selected municipalities and the questionnaire survey conducted by the citizens themselves on the status and possibilities of e-Participation in these municipalities.

The evaluation of the current e-Participation tools that local public administrations offer to their citizens and the finding of the attitude of citizens towards modern technologies introduced is the aim of this bachelor thesis.
