Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the system an employee education and development in the selected organization, which is Vítkovice Hospital, a.s. Given the breadth of the topic, I will focus on employee doctors surgery department. The theory part provides evidence on this issue, which I gathered from the literature. In the second part of the thesis, I characterized the organization of choice. The practical part describes the legal requirements of specialized and continuing training for doctors and their applications in the current system of education in Vitkovice Hospital, a.s. An integral part of this thesis is the questionnaire, which I addressed a selected sample of respondents, and doctors surgery. The investigation is mainly focused on satisfaction with current education system and detect any shortcomings in this area. With regard to obtained information I have proposed measures that could lead to improving the current education system and thus increase the satisfaction of not only doctors but also their patients.
