Podzemní kontejnery na tříděný odpad

Abstract

In my bachelor’s thesis, I focus on the issue of separated waste and its disposal in conventional containers or modern underground waste containers. I was asking myself why landfilling still prevails over recycling and waste sorting. Furthermore, the amount of municipal waste collected from households in towns and cities is constantly increasing and the capacity of conventional overhead containers is too low to take in the growing volume of waste. The current-state analysis part of the thesis focuses in particular on the Moravian town of Šternberk, which adopted a new and modern municipal waste solution – it was one of the first in the Czech Republic to avoid landfilling and to replace the overhead containers with the underground containers. Based on the findings and practical experience gained herein, I tried to design my own system of measures for the operation of machinery.
