Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with identification and analysis of risks emerging during technological shutdown within a manufacturing company. The theoretical part deals with the risk management process, while focusing on business continuity management and risks associated with this area. Furthermore, assessment of risks affecting the continuity of a certain process within the manufacturing company with the use of brainstorming, risk matrix and what-if analysis was created. Additionally, a plan for treatment of assessed risks for a purpose of operation continuity and for business impact assessment was created which will serve as a basis for business interruption insurance.
