Abstract

For gaining my practical work experience I have chosen the Ewin Technology Company. I worked in a young team where I was able to apply my previously gained knowledge on a number of problems. During the internship I worked either individually or I was assigned to and guided by one of the more experienced colleagues. Most of the tasks entrusted to me were related to a development of internet applications and their optimization. To complete this tasks I used mainly the PHP scripting language and technologies such as HTML, CSS, DOM, Ajax and others. SVN, Firebug and Bugzilla were also tools I came across with. The NetBeans IDE was the primary development environment used for the programming. This bachelor thesis describes four major projects, these are the RentWeb internet presentation, the SEO optimization Dobaby, testing of the Casino Nemo web application and AlfaIS information system.
