Abstract
This thesis deals with rock mining, procedures for landscape re-cultivation after extensive mining and options for embedding of extending pit-wall cross-section in Belice quarry. It also explains the choice of triggers and explosives used and establishes the safe seismic waves impact zone. We can conclude from the information above that there are areas of tectonic faults at present which needs to be technologically secured for the future as required by current regulations issued by The Czech Mining Authority and in accordance with the Czech law.
Slope faults assessment survey is to be carried out to assess tectonic rock faults and the general survey is to be done to assess rock instability.
In the concluding part of this thesis we will focus on a method of slope conservation in relation to the local planning and their proposed solutions which could change the attitude of professional and general public alike towards detrimental effects of mining.
